Job description

dunnhumby is the global leader in Customer Data Science, empowering businesses everywhere to compete and thrive in the modern data-driven economy. We always put the Customer First.

Our mission: to enable businesses to grow and reimagine themselves by becoming advocates and champions for their Customers. With deep heritage and expertise in retail – one of the world’s most competitive markets, with a deluge of multi-dimensional data – dunnhumby today enables businesses all over the world, across industries, to be Customer First.

dunnhumby employs nearly 2,500 experts in offices throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas working for transformative, iconic brands such as Tesco, Coca-Cola, Meijer, Procter & Gamble and Metro.

Tesco Media and Insight Platform is a partnership between Tesco, the UK’s largest grocery retailer, and dunnhumby, a global leader in Customer Data Science. Together, we always put the customer first.

Everything we do is fuelled by the insights generated via over 23 million Clubcard households, a diverse, nationally representative, first-party behavioural dataset. We empower brands with granular insights so they can identify their most important customers and understand what matters to them.

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager who expects more from their career. It’s a chance to extend and improve Tesco Media’s Sales Enablement team. It’s an opportunity to work with a market-leading business to explore new opportunities and enable Tesco Media and its clients to grow.

You will lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies to support the sales teams, by bringing products to life with compelling content that connects with our different target audiences (Retailers, CPGs & Media Agencies). Your focus will be to drive awareness, consideration and purchase of Tesco Media’s full offering. You will work at the intersection of Product, Sales and Marketing to ensure that clients and prospects understand the value of Tesco Media to create demand as well as product adoption and engagement.

What you’ll be working on
  • Develop product positioning and messaging for Tesco Media’s products and services that communicates the features and benefits through compelling storytelling.
  • Create product marketing materials, including brochures, one-pagers, creds decks, case studies, web content and videos.
  • Support the Product Managers in the go-to-market planning and launches for new products and new releases; as well as delivering ongoing product marketing programmes to drive adoption, engagement and upsell opportunities.
  • Design and run robust processes to get input into the plan from product teams and market teams and deliver ongoing communication to stakeholders.
  • Identify success metrics and measure the results of strategies and initiatives; champion best practices for product marketing and sales enablement.
  • Support the delivery and maintenance of the internal catalogue of products and services; leverage internal comms channels to promote latest product messages and materials.
  • Keep abreast of competitive developments and industry trends; differentiate Tesco Media products from the market and provide a view of the landscape to internal teams.
What we expect from you
  • Seasoned experience in product marketing and sales enablement.
  • Media industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Ad tech experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record translating product solutions to customers and sales teams.
  • Ability to distil complex market and product topics and frameworks to user-friendly narratives.
  • Excellent copy writing skills - a brilliant storyteller.
  • A team player with the ability to identify industry trends, innovate and guide new products and positioning.
What you can expect from us

We won’t just meet your expectations. We’ll defy them. So you’ll enjoy the comprehensive rewards package you’d expect from a leading technology company. But also, a degree of personal flexibility you might not expect. Plus, thoughtful perks, like flexible working hours and your birthday off.

You’ll also benefit from an investment in cutting-edge technology that reflects our global ambition. But with a nimble, small-business feel that gives you the freedom to play, experiment and learn.

And we don’t just talk about diversity and inclusion. We live it every day – with thriving networks including dh Gender Equality Network, dh Proud, dh Family, dh One and dh Thrive as the living proof. Everyone’s invited.

Our approach to Flexible Working

At dunnhumby, we value and respect difference and are committed to building an inclusive culture by creating an environment where you can balance a successful career with your commitments and interests outside of work.

We believe that you will do your best at work if you have a work / life balance. Some roles lend themselves to flexible options more than others, so if this is important to you please raise this with your recruiter, as we are open to discussing agile working opportunities during the hiring process.
