Job description

An international manufacturer is seeking a Team Lead - Product Development & Technical Service to join its laboratory team. Specializing in advanced coatings, laminates, and high-performance materials, the company serves industries including packaging, automotive, aerospace, and pharmaceuticals.

Your Role:

1. Lead a team of three project managers and one lab assistant.
2. Oversee R&D projects, ensuring quality and safety compliance.
3. Act as the technical liaison for sales, customers, purchasing, and production.
4. Optimize laboratory workflows and resource planning.
5. Drive innovation through new test methods and product expertise.
6. Budget and track development costs while maintaining key performance metrics.
7. Collaborate with international colleagues and industry partners.

Your Profile:

1. Background in chemistry, materials science, or a related field (CTA, chemical technician, or equivalent).
2. Experience in lab-based R&D, ideally within coatings, films, or roll-to-roll processes.
3. Leadership experience or aspirations to grow into a management role.
4. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
5. Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
