We are The Tour Guy, the leading provider of incredible tours and authentic experiences for all types of English-speaking travelers visiting destinations across Europe and the U.S.A. Our mission is to help others make more out of life through experiencing destinations, culture, and learning. With a dedication to immersing ourselves in international culture, we have recruited an experienced team of guides with the ability to create the wow factor for fellow adventure seekers.

With loyalty to the customer, we follow the Golden Rule of travel: treat vacations like you want yours treated. Our highly educated team is dedicated to creating an exclusivity factor, providing unique, once-in-a-lifetime tours, activities and experiences to travelers – from tours of the Vatican to authentic Parisian cooking classes, and everything in-between.

This job is fully remote.

The Candidate:

A savvy, detail-oriented professional with a passion for the tourism industry and a knack for spotting opportunity. You’re energized by building strategic partnerships and turning ideas into market-ready experiences. You understand what makes a product stand out in a crowded marketplace and have the operational chops to manage it from idea to execution. You balance creativity with structure, instinct with data, and ambition with practical know-how.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on cross-functional collaboration and is ready to take ownership of a growing portfolio of experiences. You’re just as comfortable negotiating with suppliers as you are aligning with marketing and operations to bring a new SKU to life.

Desired Experience (Skills)

  • 2+ years in e-commerce or product marketing.
  • 3+ years in sales or account management.
  • Experience in the tourism industry, preferably in start-ups or fast-paced environments.

Desired Skills/Applications

  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Development & Optimization of Experiences
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers to expand our product offerings in key regions.
  • Audit current partner offerings and identify gaps, overlaps, or underperformers in the product mix.
  • Work with suppliers to improve the quality, uniqueness, and pricing of our experiences based on data and customer feedback.
  • Identify exclusive or high-converting experiences and negotiate inventory or commission terms that support business goals.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Ensure product pages (PDPs) are fully merchandised and visually optimized in collaboration with the Merchandising team.
  • Own the backend setup and QA of experiences, including ticketing logic, pricing accuracy, and product metadata.
  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure proper category tagging, naming, and placement in the guidebook.
  • Proactively monitor live SKUs and take action on pricing, availability, or presentation issues.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Use booking data, customer reviews, and competitive insights to prioritize which products to scale, iterate on, or sunset.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Customer Experience, and Operations to support successful product launches.
  • Stay up-to-date on travel trends, OTA movements, and regional insights to inform partner strategy.

Internal Collaboration & Ownership

  • Serve as the point person for Experiences performance in assigned regions or categories.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with internal stakeholders about product launches, changes, or issues.
  • Attend weekly product or marketing meetings to present updates, share wins, and raise roadblocks early.
  • Ensure experiences are incorporated into broader marketing campaigns, review strategies, and PR initiatives.
