An innovative role has become available for a Signalling Principles Tester based in London. The Signalling Principle Tester will join a market leading organisation’s signalling office and work with some of the latest signalling equipment on the current market.

Role:

The successful candidate will be working in a team reporting to the Data Testing Manager and may be responsible for a team of up to four testers. The Signalling Principles Tester will be responsible for the management structure of the team on the allocated project/s.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Ensuring signalling projects testing (Principle data) is managed and delivered on time to the client’s standards
2. Responsible for the complete testing of the signalling scheme
3. Supporting commissioning requirements required
4. Manage and motivate staff in your team, including undertaking all staff management duties
5. Provide forecasts of data testing and resource requirements
6. Liaise with the project team for potential resolution and support
7. Comply with all relevant health and safety measures in all activities undertaken

Essential Requirements:

1. Successful Principle testing experience
2. Competent with complex works in principle testing
3. A Functional Testers License
4. A Mod 2 License 1.3.180
5. A IOSH Managing Safety

Desirable:

1. Driving License
2. Associate member of IRSE
3. Valid PTS ac/dc certificate
4. Have experience report writing
