About the role & team:

We’re an organic content team looking for a highly skilled, native English-speaking Content Manager with a strong attention to editorial detail, a passion for data and technology, and a sharp business sense. The ideal candidate is a professional editor with a track record of creating and managing performance-driven blog content and a keen interest in SEO and user-growth strategies. Join our dynamic, global SEO team and play a crucial role in expanding our online presence in the US.

Excelling in this position requires thriving in a collaborative environment, working closely across different time zones with copywriters, editors, SEO experts, data analysts, designers, publishing specialists, external agencies, and more. This is a hybrid role based in the Czech Republic or London, with flexibility to work remotely, but requires some in-person collaboration at our Prague headquarters, Brno office, or London office.

What You Will Do in This Role
  1. Manage and execute the Acquisition content strategy for our industry-leading consumer blog and deliver outstanding editorial quality to our US audience.
  2. Plan and oversee the editorial calendar to ensure smooth publishing processes that support our website, brand, and audiences.
  3. Collaborate with our expert editorial team to create impactful and engaging long-form content seen by millions of people around the world.
  4. Edit, review, and publish articles about identity protection, financial wellness, online scams, digital security, and related topics to help people safely navigate their digital lives.
  5. Help lead a team of freelance copywriters, coordinating content planning and execution, and assisting with budgeting and related tasks.
  6. Closely monitor and optimize the performance of all content to deliver against challenging traffic, engagement, and conversion targets.
  7. Work cross-functionally with copywriters, marketing and product managers, subject-matter experts, SEO specialists, designers, developers, and technical teams to ensure impeccable content that supports our product roadmap.
  8. Continually learn and refine techniques for gauging the needs and preferences of our US audience, and for planning and delivering content that matches that.
  9. Help solidify our brand as an industry-leading and highly trusted source.
What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role
  1. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience as a digital copywriter or content manager, with proven ability to write engaging, long-form “performance” content that drives web traffic and conversions (user acquisition, lead generation, sales).
  3. 3+ years of experience working with a team of writers and editors, while helping to manage an editorial calendar and coordinate content production with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  4. Professional editorial experience, with superb proofreading and copy-editing skills and a meticulous attention to accuracy.
  5. Successful track record of managing editorial projects from inception to completion.
  6. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop writers.
  7. Experience writing and editing content about technology, with expertise in some of the following areas: identity protection, financial wellness, scams, online security and privacy, and SaaS.
  8. Journalism background and/or the ability to quickly research complex subjects, synthesize new information, and write clearly, concisely, and accurately about a variety of topics for a general audience.
  9. Proficiency using web analytics tools (like Google Analytics and Google Search Console) to evaluate content performance and suggest actionable improvements.
  10. Knowledge of (or a strong desire to learn about) fundamental SEO principles and how to optimize web content for maximum organic search visibility.
  11. Familiarity with conversion-rate optimization (CRO) techniques and a passion for testing new ways to improve content performance.
  12. Ability to use a CMS to edit and publish content independently.
  13. Positive, can-do attitude with a flexible, committed approach to work.
  14. Detail-oriented, organized, results-driven, and able to work independently with only directional supervision.
  15. Native English speaker, preferably American English.
