An established consultancy is seeking a Principal Design Manager to join their dynamic Building Engineering Team. This role involves leading design programmes and managing project delivery within the data centre sector. You will collaborate with Engineers and Architects to ensure successful project execution, while advocating for best practices and health and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record in delivering high-spec, large-scale projects. Job Description
We are working alongside a very established consultancy who have an opportunity for a Principal Design Manager looking to rise to the challenge of working in the data centre sector and becoming a permanent member of their friendly, accommodating and creative Building Engineering Team. As an integral member of their multi-disciplinary team, you will work alongside Engineers and Architects to deliver design packages from initial brief through scheme & detail design to installation and commissioning support. You will be in charge of managing the successful delivery of the projects.

They are looking for a Design Manager with excellent communication and delivery skills who enjoys working on fast-paced and highly technical projects, working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary design teams. You will have a passion for design and an appreciation of all discipline roles within the design process. You will have direct experience of delivering high-spec, large-scale projects. You will have a strong sense of commitment and appetite for overcoming challenges in order to see significant, high-profile projects through to completion.
