Power Platform Analyst

Full Time / Permanent

£45,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience plus a bonus and genuinely good benefits package

Hybrid Remote / 1 day every couple of months in Midlands / Oxfordshire head office on average

The Role

As a Power Platform Analyst you will be required to engage with the wider IT team, Architects, delivery specialists and with third party partners to deliver integrations between the Microsoft Power Platform, primarily D365 Customer Engagement, external services / other applications on the estate. Making the best use of the Power Platform, available plug-ins and Azure technologies such as Service Bus and API endpoints to facilitate the automated flow of data between applications and retrieval of data from third party services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Understand and document business requirements within the Azure DevOps toolset
  2. Own and manage Power Platform environments, ensuring control, structure and consistency
  3. Apply understanding of existing Microsoft Dataverse structure to ensure data integrity
  4. Analyse third party API offerings to design data point mappings
  5. Design and develop appropriate, secure and scalable solutions based on best practices.
  6. Engage with architects and wider IT delivery teams to ensure solutions meet standards and are fit for purpose
  7. Ensure the resilience and supportability of solutions via appropriate alerting, logging and error handling
  8. Create high quality technical documentation to outline what is to be delivered
  9. Engage in the full Sprint lifecycle including planning, backlog review and retrospectives
  10. Deliver playback sessions to articulate technical solutions within the Sprint
  11. Actively engage with the Test Practice to ensure solutions are of the highest quality
  12. Provide a high level of ongoing service through excellent Incident and Problem Management
  13. Be responsible for deploying technical solutions
  14. Ensure adherence to appropriate governance and change control standards
Skills and Experience required
  1. Proven experience developing solutions using the full capability of Microsoft Power Platform
  2. Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, specifically D365 Customer Engagement
  3. Experience of working with Azure Service Bus to configure interfaces
  4. Knowledge of the wider Microsoft Azure platform and PAAS environment
  5. Experience working with API endpoints and data mapping
  6. Working knowledge of scripting (either Python, .Net, C# or JavaScript) and SQL
  7. Experience of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies as well as the use of SCRUM framework
  8. The ability to communicate with, influence and manage stakeholders expectations.
  9. Ability to translate requirements into technical specifications
  10. Have a proven track record of successful implementation of technological solutions
  11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
