Role Overview
As a Power Platform Consultant, you will be a professional who specializes in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions within the Power Platform. The role will require you to contribute to tender writing while also producing documentation for discovery, proposals, scopes of work, technical handovers, and case studies. As a Power Platform Consultant, you will require many skills, with the ability to be a consultant, strategist, and engineer ensuring solutions meet the specific needs of our customers. The role requires excellent collaboration and communication skills, as at OfficeLabs we work closely together as a delivery team to enable comprehensive results that can span SharePoint, Power Platform, Dynamics, Dataverse and AI.
Responsibilities
- Implement best practices for solutions to maintain information security.
- Work as part of a team to successfully deliver customer solutions.
- Show a positive joined-up approach when communicating with customers.
- Handle confidential and sensitive customer company information responsibly.
- Mentor team members on Power Platform features and development.
- Generate discoveries, proposals, scopes of work, tenders, case studies, and technical handovers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented solutions, following best practices.
- Respond to customers where possible within 1 working day for inquiries and 3 days for proposals.
- Effectively work with senior staff members on Pre-Sales to help build successful client journeys with the objective of long-lasting customer relationships.
- Effectively log and demonstrate time management and multi-tasking.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into leading-edge Microsoft Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Demonstrate practical experience in project management.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of business processes.
- Stay updated with Microsoft’s latest technologies, innovations, training, and qualifications.
- Have a positive can-do attitude to both customers and colleagues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years building Power Platform solutions.
- Proven experience working within and implementing solutions for Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Strong understanding of business processes and ability to translate requirements into successful technical solutions.
- Experience of data modeling, connectors, and integrating Power Platform with other systems.
- Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Dynamics 365 and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of best practices for maintaining information security.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

Salary: circa £35,000.00 per annum (negotiable).
