We have partnered with a locally owned and forward-thinking software business who are keen to add a Power BI Developer to their team. This role can either suit an experienced Power BI professional or someone with strong data experience looking to move into such a role.

The purpose of this role is to create datasets, reports and dashboards based on their piece of software. Working within a software team this role will manage data, assist with migrations and create usable and viable datasets having discussed requirements and ideas from clients.

Key duties:

1. Determine the requirements for reports and dashboards.
2. Merge various requirements into standardised datasets.
3. Ensure datasets follow a consistent methodology.
4. Produce high-quality documentation.
5. Partner with business stakeholders to identify challenges and future-proof datasets.
6. Work collaboratively to understand customer and business needs.
7. Break down epics into user stories, working with technology teams to establish acceptance criteria.
8. Assist clients in migrating, organizing, cleansing, and transferring their data to company platforms.
9. Manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively.
10. Work with UX/UI designers to conceptualize and prototype new products and features.
11. Share product and feature insights with other stakeholders.
12. Collaborate with technical writers to produce comprehensive documentation.
13. Contribute to shaping the product vision and roadmap.
14. Review and approve user stories for implementation.
15. Define and outline non-functional requirements.

Candidates should ideally have a good Power BI experience including DAX & Power Query. A strong data background and SQL experience are beneficial.
