Horticultural experience would be a big plus, but it's not essential. If you don't have it, that's fine-as long as you're willing to learn. What really matters is strong retail management experience, a passion for great customer service, and the ability to lead a team.

You'll be managing the plant area at a well-established garden centre in Reading. This is a hands-on role where you'll have the freedom to make decisions, improve processes, and ensure customers have the best possible experience.

One moment, you'll be planning stock and coaching your team. The next, you'll be on the shop floor, helping customers find the right plants for their gardens. No two days are the same, and that's what makes this role exciting.
