Rotational Physiotherapist | Inpatient and MSK Outpatient | Full Time | Permanent | Competitive Salary | Oadby, Leicester

Spire Leicester Hospital is recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Physio team. Spire Leicester is a leading private hospital, offering cutting-edge diagnostics, specialist clinics and complex surgical treatments with 4 operating theatres, a dedicated chemo suite, and 21 consulting rooms.

Duties and responsibilities
This is a dual role working across both MSK Outpatients and surgical inpatients.

1. To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the outpatient department.
2. Discuss, agree and explain responsibilities for the physiotherapy assessment of patients, including their needs and any associated risks.
3. Using clinical reasoning skills develop treatment plans that are appropriate to the patient taking into consideration their physiotherapy care, risks and wellbeing.
4. To hold own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision.

Who we're looking for

1. Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
2. Be HCPC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions.
3. You must have post-registration Physiotherapy experience, ideally in a hospital setting.
4. Experience of assessing, diagnosing and treating a range of patients/cases.
5. MSK experience is essential.
6. Orthopaedic experience is essential.
7. Excellent communication skills, along with being organised and can showcase excellent patient care.

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
