We have a full time post available within Angus Physiotherapy Service. The post is based within the Outpatient team in Stracathro Hospital, Brechin with some input into the Orthopaedic wards. We are looking for a clinician to join our team.
Within this post, you will deal with a mixed caseload of consultant, GP and self referrals from across the Angus area. The workload is mainly adult musculo-skeletal, but all age ranges and conditions are dealt with. The orthopaedic component of the post covers post-operative care within the wards and within the orthopaedic clinics on site at Stracathro Hospital.
Angus Physiotherapy Service is part of an award-winning Tayside wide musculoskeletal team leading the way in service development. Our clinicians are supported in developing the skills required to deliver quality care to our patients. This includes development of injection therapy, radiographic imaging and independent prescribing. Angus Physiotherapy Service has established First Contact clinics with further development of this service underway.
An active in-service training programme is in place both within the local base and the Angus Physiotherapy Service. Personal and Professional Development is structured via the Knowledge and Skills Framework.
