Pulse Nursing Agency is looking for experienced Phlebotomists and HCAs with Phlebotomy experience and a minimum of 1 year of taking blood samples. Shifts are available in Redruth, Monday-Sunday (8:00am - 19:30pm), offering competitive hourly pay rates.
Working as a Phlebotomist/HCA you will:
- Complete POCT cholesterol checks; height, weight, and waist measurements; heart rate and blood pressure checks, and record data findings on the system.
- Draw two blood samples, labeling and storing them correctly.
- Check the welfare of the participants throughout their appointments, escalating as required.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Minimum of one year’s active experience drawing blood.
- Experience in taking patient observations.
- Excellent patient care skills.
- Immediate holder of the Right to Work in the UK.
- We are unable to support or accept applications from candidates who are residents within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England, based on the World Health Organisation (WHO) Workforce Support and Safeguard List.
