THE EXPERIENCES RANGE FROM INFLUENCER TRIPS TO POP UP SHOPS, EVENT SET UPS, INSTALLATIONS AND LOUNGE ACTIVATIONS. THE COMPANY HAS AN OFFICE IN LONDON AND LOS ANGELES AND PRESENCE IN DUBAI, NEW YORK, MIAMI AND PARIS.

THE TEAM OF 40+ CONSISTS OF DESIGNERS, PRODUCERS, COORDINATORS AND A FINANCE AND OPERATIONS TEAM.

JOB TITLE: PEOPLE & OPERATIONS MANAGER, LONDON OFFICE (WORKING WITH GLOBAL TEAM)

REPORTING INTO: MANAGING DIRECTOR

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

WE ARE SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED PEOPLE & OPERATIONS MANAGER TO OVERSEE AND DRIVE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF OUR PEOPLE AND OPERATIONS FUNCTIONS ACROSS OUR UK AND US OFFICES. THIS SENIOR ROLE IS PIVOTAL IN ENSURING OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE AND FOSTERING A HIGH-PERFORMANCE CULTURE ACROSS BOTH REGIONS. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL MANAGE THE PEOPLE & OPERATIONS ASSISTANTS IN LONDON AND LOS ANGELES, WHILE WORKING CLOSELY WITH SENIOR LEADERSHIP TO SUPPORT BUSINESS OBJECTIVES.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES A PROACTIVE AND STRATEGIC LEADER WITH EXCEPTIONAL ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS, AN EYE FOR PROCESS OPTIMISATION, AND A PASSION FOR PEOPLE AND CULTURE.

PEOPLE & HR LEADERSHIP

  • LEAD THE PEOPLE FUNCTION, ENSURING THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF HR POLICIES AND BEST PRACTICES IN BOTH UK AND US OFFICES
  • MANAGE AND MENTOR THE PEOPLE & OPERATIONS ASSISTANTS IN BOTH REGIONS
  • OVERSEE TALENT ACQUISITION, ONBOARDING, AND RETENTION STRATEGIES, ENSURING A SEAMLESS CANDIDATE AND EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE
  • PARTNER WITH DEPARTMENT HEADS TO DRIVE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVES
  • CHAMPION DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION (DEI) INITIATIVES ACROSS ALL TEAMS
  • OVERSEE EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MATTERS, ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH REGIONAL LABOUR LAWS AND COMPANY POLICIES
  • OWN AND OPTIMISE THE ONBOARDING AND OFFBOARDING EXPERIENCE FOR ALL EMPLOYEES

OPERATIONS & BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

  • OVERSEE ALL AGENCY-WIDE OPERATIONAL FUNCTIONS AND PROGRAMS, ENSURING SMOOTH DAY-TO-DAY BUSINESS OPERATIONS IN BOTH UK AND US
  • MANAGE OFFICE LOGISTICS, FACILITIES, AND VENDOR RELATIONSHIPS TO ENSURE ALL OFFICES OPERATE EFFICIENTLY
  • ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN OPERATIONAL BUDGETS, WORKING CLOSELY WITH FINANCE TO OPTIMISE RESOURCE ALLOCATION
  • RESPONSIBLE FOR MULTI-COMPANY INSURANCES, NEGOTIATING PREFERABLE RATES AND ENSURING ADHERENCE TO RENEWAL DATES AND COVERAGE LEVELS
  • OVERSEE COMPANY TRAVEL PLANNING AND LOGISTICS, ENSURING EFFICIENCY AND ADHERENCE TO POLICY
  • SUPPORT LEADERSHIP IN IMPLEMENTING STRATEGIC INITIATIVES THAT ENHANCE ORGANISATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS
  • DRIVE COMPANY-WIDE SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES, ENSURING ALIGNMENT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL BEST PRACTICES
  • OTHER OPERATIONAL TASKS SUPPORTING BUSINESS NEEDS, AS REQUIRED

CULTURE & EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE

  • LEAD EFFORTS TO FOSTER A POSITIVE, HIGH-PERFORMANCE CULTURE ACROSS BOTH REGIONS
  • ORGANISE AND OVERSEE COMPANY-WIDE EVENTS, TEAM-BUILDING ACTIVITIES, AND EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION PROGRAMS
  • ACT AS THE KEY POINT OF CONTACT FOR EMPLOYEES ON WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE, CULTURE, AND WELL-BEING MATTERS

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN HR & PEOPLE MANAGEMENT (QUALIFICATION DESIRABLE)
  • 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN OPERATIONS, OR BUSINESS MANAGEMENT ROLES, IN A CREATIVE AGENCY OR EQUIVALENT FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT
  • STRONG LEADERSHIP SKILLS WITH EXPERIENCE MANAGING REPORTS ACROSS REGIONS
  • PROVEN ABILITY TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT HR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
  • EXCELLENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITIES
  • STRONG FINANCIAL ACUMEN AND EXPERIENCE MANAGING BUDGETS
  • EXCEPTIONAL ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND ABILITY TO MULTITASK IN A DYNAMIC SETTING
  • STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF UK AND US EMPLOYMENT LAWS AND COMPLIANCE
  • PROFICIENCY IN MICROSOFT OFFICE, HRIS SYSTEMS, AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT TOOLS (E.G., MONDAY.COM, BREATHE HR, PAPRIKA)
