As we scale, we are hiring our first Operations Manager to bring structure, efficiency, and clarity to our ways of working. The founders currently oversee all operational responsibilities, however we are transitioning towards a more sustainable model to support our future growth.

This role requires a highly organised, self-motivated individual who thrives in a remote setting and can be trusted to drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will not only ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations but will also help shape the company’s long-term success by establishing scalable processes and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement structured processes to enhance operational efficiency, ensuring scalability as we grow. Apply a big picture model to tactical efficiency ensuring that actions taken now support the company’s graceful growth.
  2. Coordinate the preparation and execution of Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings, both onsite and offsite, including agenda setting, documentation, and minute-taking. Ensure follow-through on action items and key deliverables, providing oversight on deadlines on behalf of the SLT.
  3. Introduce and maintain clear frameworks for cross-functional coordination.
  4. Establish and oversee enterprise-wide processes to support business growth.
  5. Manage IT asset tracking, procurement, and software licensing.
  6. Oversee website updates, telecoms management, and handling of business-critical subscriptions.
  7. Administration Management including:
    1. Ensure timely bill payments and expense tracking.
    2. Manage timesheet collection and reporting.
    3. Coordinate travel arrangements and logistical support for team members.
    4. Staff lifecycle management, specifically overseeing off-boarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for leavers. Additionally, working with the HR team to continuously improve the on-boarding and engagement experience for staff.
    5. Handle security clearance administration and compliance processes.

Who You Are

  1. A highly disciplined and integrity-driven professional with a track record of working autonomously.
  2. Strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively across teams and with leadership. Consistently demonstrates a professional and personable approach to work and can be relied upon to execute on agreed actions as well as being proactive in suggesting and executing on initiatives for continuous improvement.
  3. Experienced in remote work, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple responsibilities.
  4. Adept at building operational structures and streamlining processes in a fast-growing professional services company.
  5. Proficiency in using project management tools e.g. Trello, Advanced Excel, Jira
  6. Comfortable handling confidential information and business-critical responsibilities.
  7. Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of driving initiatives independently.
  8. Familiarity with IT asset management and procurement.
  9. Prior experience in executive support, business administration, or a related role.
  10. Ability to work flexibly and adapt to evolving business needs.
  11. Experience in operations management within a growing consultancy, technology, or data-driven environment.
  12. Ambitious with an interest in developing into a future senior leadership role. This could be COO, People Operations Leader or similar.

Key employee benefits

  1. Salary of £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
