Key responsibilities
- Implement and manage the organisation’s Data and Analytics Operations, developing and implementing frameworks, providing standards and guidance, tooling and reporting.
- Work with senior stakeholders to align priorities and secure support.
- Support the build, management and maintenance of data and analytics capabilities including design and build of solutions, data infrastructure, analytics tools, products and services.
- Detect and analyse early trends in data and analytics technology.
- Support teams to realise opportunities for innovation.
- Advise on new techniques and methods that address shared problems.
- Support the organisation to ensure it has the data and analytics skills it needs.
- Implement organisational processes and ways of working so that data and analytics roles you support can thrive.
- Continuously improve and optimise the organisational environment.
- Implement and monitor performance to improve the Data and Analytics Delivery function.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Professional Experience:
- Significant, demonstrable senior manager experience in data-centric roles, with a proven track record in Data Assurance, Data Analysis, Data Management, Master Data Management, Data Controls, Data Sharing, Data Acquisition, and Data Standards.
- Demonstrable expertise in understanding and deploying data frameworks & processes for advanced data solutions.
- Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills, capable of cross-functional collaboration to drive change and achieve common goals.
- Deep understanding of the technology industry offerings in the data and analytics space, including familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms and services.
- Proficiency in data performance, risk, and issue reporting and escalation, with a proven track record of delivering against KPIs and SLAs.
- Proven track record of supporting medium to large-scale data and analytics projects and programmes.
- Excellent knowledge of data and analytics transformation, technical road mapping, and performance management.
- Demonstrable experience in implementing data and analytics frameworks and data lifecycle processes.
