In addition to your technical expertise, you will collaborate closely with senior architects and external stakeholders to meet their needs while adhering to project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of aviation projects through all RIBA Plan of Work stages (0-7), ensuring technical accuracy and design quality.
  • Support the coordination of multidisciplinary inputs, including structure, MEP services, specialist systems, and interior elements.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including planning and building control applications.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, legal standards, and client objectives.
  • Contribute to internal design reviews, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, coordinated outputs.
  • Assist with project resources and support key decisions and risk management.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by supporting bids, tenders, and marketing initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

  • Solid technical knowledge and understanding of architectural design, preferably with experience in aviation or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with UK construction methods, building regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential.
  • Site experience, including assisting with managing construction phases and resolving on-site challenges.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to contribute to client relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining quality and deadlines.
  • ARB Part II registration is required.

What's on offer:

As well as offering a salary in the £30,000 to £35,000 range, they will provide you with a benefits package that will include:

  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Eye care Vouchers
  • 10 paid sick leave days per year
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Fresh fruit in the office
  • Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme (within 90 days of joining)
  • Group Life Insurance (2x salary)
  • Childcare vouchers (for existing staff)

Work-Life Balance:

  • 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
  • 4 additional days off between Christmas and New Year
  • Up to 10 remote working days per year (including from another country)
  • Hybrid working (2 days in the office per week)

Professional Development:

  • Opportunities for professional growth and career progression
  • Access to LinkedIn Learning and the iHasco learning platform

  • 50% support for RIBA Part III exam/registration fee
  • Paid study leave to support professional exams and training
