About the Role
The Access and Security Administrator will play a key central role in organising the planning and scheduling of service, repairs, and installations for a diverse range of industrial and automatic doors within our vast customer range, including Facilities Management accounts. Your responsibilities will involve managing orders, liaising between engineers and customers, undertaking administrative duties, and upholding strict adherence to established procedures.

Responsibilities

  1. Ordering of stock:
    Accepting orders from clients and inputting them into the system.
    Generating and managing purchase orders.
    Receipting goods for orders accurately.
  2. Job Scheduling and Coordination:
    Planning and scheduling service, repair, and installation jobs.
    Coordinating with engineers and customers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
    Booking in jobs and ensuring all necessary resources (engineers/subcontractor, vehicles and parts) are available.
  3. Invoicing and Financial Administration:
    Ensure timely completion of jobs to facilitate daily invoicing.
  4. Quoting and Technical Documentation:
    Creating quotes for customers, following established processes.

Other Duties:
Undertaking any additional duties assigned by the line manager to support the smooth operation of the department.
Supporting the wider Access & Security Management team with administration duties.

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and proficiency in computer systems and software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Knowledge of industrial and automatic door systems.
