Job Title: Motor Insurance Specialist

Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience

About the Role:

Time Recruitment is seeking a skilled Motor Insurance Specialist on behalf of a leading UK insurance brokerage. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and provide expert guidance to clients on motor insurance products. As a Motor Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for advising clients on a range of policies, including personal car, van, and commercial vehicle insurance. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert advice on motor insurance products, including personal car, van, and commercial vehicle insurance.
  2. Assess clients' requirements and recommend tailored insurance policies based on their individual needs and risk profiles.
  3. Work with insurance providers and underwriters to secure the best coverage and competitive premiums for clients.
  4. Respond promptly to client inquiries, offering clear and professional advice on policy options and coverage.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  6. Support clients throughout the claims process, offering guidance and ensuring swift and efficient claims handling.
  7. Stay up to date with industry developments, including regulatory changes, market trends, and new product offerings.
  8. Accurately record and manage client information and policy details in the company's CRM system.
  9. Meet and exceed sales, retention, and customer service targets.
  10. Provide ongoing support for policy renewals, changes, and updates as clients' needs evolve.

Skills and Experience Required:

  1. Minimum of 2 years' experience in motor insurance, preferably in a brokerage or client-facing role.
  2. Strong knowledge of motor insurance products, including personal, commercial, and fleet insurance.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance terms in a simple, accessible manner.
  4. Customer-focused with a proven ability to build lasting relationships and deliver exceptional service.
  5. Sales-driven with a track record of meeting sales targets and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  6. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accuracy in policy documentation and compliance.
  7. Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
