An established industry player is seeking two MEP Commissioning Managers to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on managing the commissioning processes of MEP services across various critical infrastructure projects, including data centres and healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing installations, leading commissioning meetings, and maintaining client relationships while ensuring compliance with standards and documentation. James Lewis have been approached by a key client, who are an MEP-led Principal Contractor, to help secure 2 x MEP Commissioning Managers for their expanding team. Focussing on critical infrastructure, they work across a range of project sectors which include data centres, education, commercial, healthcare, and science & technology in and around London and the SE. Their services start from design, through construction and fit out to the maintenance of the projects, effectively offering an end-to-end solution.
The role involves the management of the commissioning processes associated with MEP Services, from project inception through to installation, full testing and commissioning, proving of successful integration, demonstration, handover, sign off and training of the systems to the client and their appointed representatives.
To be considered you will require a relevant degree level qualification (ONC, HND or Degree Level in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services) and a proven background in Commissioning Management in mechanical and/or electrical infrastructure ideally in live critical working environments (data centres, pharmaceutical, laboratories, heavy industrial, etc.). You will also be a CSCS card holder, have your IOSH or SMSTS, along with First aid at work. Sites are in various locations in and around London and surrounding home counties, so you must have a valid UK driving license and a willingness to travel. At times this may require staying away on a short-term basis.
