Job Summary
The Ambulatory Care Medical Office Assistant will support various aspects of clinical and operational processes and is typically the first point of contact for patients who are referred to the clinic. The Ambulatory Care Medical Office Assistant will perform a variety of office duties, including receptionist, telephone, message management, referral management, scheduling, registration, and other activities. In addition, the Ambulatory Care Medical Office Assistant will demonstrate knowledge and skill to provide appropriate care needed in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and protocols. Identifies and meets the needs of all customers while performing in a manner consistent with the organizations core values of innovation, collaboration, accountability, respect, and empathy.
Education
High School Diploma or GED or graduate from accredited Medical Assistant training program or meets BOMEX training guidelines. Required
Experience
1 year experience in a medical office setting. Required
Licenses and Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
