Great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, living commutable to Bedford to work for a well established and very profitable British manufacturer of packaging machinery supplied to the food, chemical & pharmaceutical markets.

BASIC SALARY: Up to £55,000

BENEFITS:
Overtime when required

LOCATION: Factory based in Bedford

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Bedford, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Huntingdon, Cambridge, Peterborough, Luton

JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechanical Design Engineer

A classic Mechanical Design Engineer role, using SolidWorks & AutoCAD to design new machines, retrofits, upgrades, issuing of machine BOMs & creation of new machine manuals, working as part of a team of Design Engineers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

You MUST be an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. Ideally, you will have specific experience of working upon special purpose machinery. You will be qualified to HNC+ in mechanical engineering. You will have used SolidWorks & ideally AutoCAD software.
