Job Vacancy: Secondary Mathematics Teacher

Location: Middleton, Manchester

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons as a Mathematics Teacher for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Foster an inclusive classroom where students feel motivated and confident to participate under the guidance of their Mathematics Teacher.
• Employ a range of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and address student performance to ensure all learners achieve their potential with the support of their Mathematics Teacher.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop effective teaching resources as a committed Mathematics Teacher.
• Promote high standards of behavior, respect, and effort in all lessons to maintain a positive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching mathematics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Strong understanding of the secondary mathematics curriculum and effective teaching methods.
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Passion for teaching mathematics and helping students achieve their best.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for a successful Mathematics Teacher.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance available if needed).
