Job description
Our client, a widely respected London market Insurance Company, seeks a Marine Claims Manager. You will be responsible for managing and handling Marine claims within the London Market Claims team. Reporting to the Head of Claims - London Market in the day-to-day operation and control of the claims function, to ensure that the Marine claims team processes and settles claims in a timely manner, whilst constantly striving to develop and improve service and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and handle Marine claims within the London Market Claims team.
- Ensure timely processing and settlement of claims.
- Develop and improve service and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing Marine (Cargo, Hull and/or Liability) claims in the London Market.
- Some experience of mentoring/managing a claims team is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of ECF and the Lloyd's Claims Schemes is beneficial.
This will be a hybrid role.
