Sheridan Maine is pleased to be working with a well-established retail group seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, providing financial insight and analysis to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities Of The Management Accountant Include

1. Prepare month-end journals and provide commentary on P&L and Balance Sheet variances.
2. Maintain rolling forecasts and annual budgets, liaising with key stakeholders.
3. Support financial reporting related to capital expenditure and cost control.
4. Assist in the year-end audit process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
5. Collaborate with business partners to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

The Successful Management Accountant Will Require

1. Qualified or Part-Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
2. Experience in management accounting, reporting, and forecasting.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
5. Proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
