Job description

New role within an established and successful MT4 / MT5 forex broker within management accounting. Previous experience of working within an MT4 / MT5 forex broker.

Management Accountant
£55000 - £60000 and Bonus and Benefits
London (hybrid model – 3 days per week in the office)


The Company
Expanding forex broker / trading company with multiple international locations. An opportunity has arisen within their small finance team based in London.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Accountant with hands-on experience working within an MT4 or MT5 forex broker.
  • Hands-on experience of accurate production of management accounts from start to finish in a small finance function.
  • Proven experience in double entry accounting.
  • Experience of multi-currency accounting (although the systems do this for you).
  • Experience of consolidation of accounts very useful.
  • Strong Excel skills essential (vlookup, pivot tables, sumif).
  • Used to working to strict deadlines.
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics useful but not essential.
  • Some experience of VAT accounting useful but not essential.

The Role

  • Own and coordinate the timely and accurate production of Financial Statements for the allocated legal entities.
  • Preparation of management accounts to strict deadlines adhering to month-end timetable for 6 entities.
  • Ensuring all entries are accurate and reflect in the general ledger using Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date balance sheet reconciliations are produced and maintained.
  • Ensure accuracy of the P&L for each entity and therefore consolidated month-end accounts.
  • Support and book via journal entries accounting for expenses.
  • Complete monthly Cost Centre reports and ensure business heads get the required management information.
  • Consolidation of management accounting information.
  • Preparation of P&L and balance sheet for various companies.
  • Participate in monthly close process by completing allocated tasks including accruals, prepayments and other ad-hoc tasks.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date balance sheet reconciliations are produced and maintained.
  • Assist in annual budgeting.
