We are seeking a patient, caring Buddy to support our client, who was born in 2007. He loves drama and music and is currently attending sixth form taking drama, film studies, and maths. He likes attending Youth Theatre, had a speaking part on BBC Radio, and hopes to pursue acting as a career.

He lives at home with his family and would like to grow his independence in participating in his interests and hobbies which include going to the gym, cinema, theatre, and music gigs. Your role will be to provide support for our client with his interests and activities both within the local community in Swindon and further afield in the UK. He is dependent on someone to help him mobilize and transfer around the family home and to be around should he require help with personal care tasks. Our client has a multidisciplinary therapy team with whom you will need to work effectively to support him.

This is an excellent opportunity for a caring person to develop existing skills and work with a dedicated family supporting a very social young man. A truly rewarding role for someone who is able to communicate effectively and has the ability to work with patience, tact, understanding, warmth, and compassion.
