Working Hours: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Join a global FMCG Manufacturer. We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee engineering and facility activities at our client's Aylesford sites. This role is perfect for someone who is a natural leader and is looking to make a significant impact in our operations.

Day-to-day of the Maintenance Supervisor role:

Supervise and support a team of technicians, addressing technical matters and improving service delivery.
Monitor and report on departmental KPIs.
Conduct engineer audits and deliver Tool Box Talks.
Manage all engineering aspects from planning to completion, ensuring productivity and product quality improvements.
Perform risk assessments and manage the site T-card reporting system for maintenance and breakdown reports.
Implement and develop new health and safety policies.
Conduct in-house training on best practices and safe systems of work.
Maintain up-to-date records and actively involve in continuous improvements as directed by management.
Ensure adherence to food hygiene and safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications of the Maintenance Supervisor:

Formal engineering qualification.
Experience in electrical and mechanical installation.
Strong understanding of health and safety practices; IOSH or higher preferred.
Proficient in hydraulics and pneumatics.
Knowledgeable in food safety standards within a FMCG environment.
Skilled in incident investigation, risk assessments, and audit inspections.
Ability to deliver effective training and motivate a team.
Excellent communication, numeracy, and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel).
