Maintenance Plumber - Stockton on Tees - MoJ Secure Site - Call for salary.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber to join the MoJ account in HMP Holme House, Stockton on Tees. This role is based on-site, Mon - Fri working days, and there will be a need to work some weekends on a 1 in 3 rota basis (with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).

The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week (across 7 days where a weekend shift pattern is in place).

Qualifications:

1. Ideally, you will be qualified to NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance; however, we may consider applications if you have NVQ level 2.
2. Desirable: Legionella Control (L8) and experience in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Routine and non-routine maintenance.
2. Fault finding and identification of life expired equipment.
3. Check, repair, and make good faults and life expired equipment.
4. Inspections, water sampling, and risk assessment.
5. Mains water supply repairs.
6. Minimise wastage and continually improve processes.
7. Ensure statutory works are carried out to time and that work is compliant.
8. This role may include working at height and in all weather conditions.
