Job Description De Vere Latimer Estate
De Vere Latimer Estate has 205 bedrooms, 27 meeting and event spaces plus 30 acres of land for team building, a restaurant, bar, gym and swimming pool. Maintenance Assistant
Are you a skilled maintenance assistant? Would you enjoy maintaining our iconic historical building?
We are recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at De Vere Latimer Estate in Chesham.
As a Maintenance Assistant you will work as part of the maintenance team responsible for making sure the property is kept to a high standard. The role will cover both reactive and planned preventative work and will also involve compliance work including property audits and recording important data such as meter readings.
This is a full-time role which involves working earlys, lates and weekends.
In return the role offers £12.50 per hour plus excellent benefits including free meals on duty, a complimentary two nights stay at one of our De Vere Hotels each year, 50% off all food and drink plus additional overnight stays at only £50 per room and a paid day off for your birthday.
Your skills and experience:
• Knowledge and experience of basic maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrics and decorating.
• The ability to prioritise work efficiently and keep people informed on planned completion timelines.
• You are enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a team.
