Overview

Saiia Construction Company LLC, a MasTec company, is currently hiring for heavy civil construction laborers in Birmingham, AL.

The Laborer position is responsible for performing physical labor tasks at civil, mining, and maintenance jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Unload and carry materials at jobsites.
• Use rakes, shovels, and small power tools at jobsites.
• Clean up on jobsites, including break areas, restrooms, trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, weed eating, and planting.
• Provide traffic control at jobsite projects as required.
• Perform various other jobsite duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain acceptable attendance standards.
• Ability to use email, smart phone, tablet, or computer to manage company information.
