Job Title: JUNIOR Accounts Assistant

Location: Ruislip HA4

Job Type: Ongoing Temp to Perm opportunity

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09.00am - 5.30pm - Office-Based

Job Summary:

My client is seeking a highly organized and skilled Accounts Assistant to join their small team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using Sage Line 50 and experience working with multiple currencies, including Euros, Pounds, and USD. Full training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role. This position offers excellent long-term prospects for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Tasks: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including purchase and sales ledgers, using Sage Line 50.
  • Multi-Currency Management: Handle transactions in Euros, Pounds, and USD, ensuring accurate currency exchange and reconciliation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a small team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Customer Interaction: Respond to customer queries regarding invoices and other accounting matters.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the accounting team, including filing, mail handling, and phone calls.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Month-End Processes: Assist with month-end closing procedures, including preparing financial reports.

Requirements:

  • Sage Line 50 Proficiency: A strong background using Sage Line 50 accounting software.
  • Multi-Currency Experience: Background in handling transactions in multiple currencies (Euros, Pounds, USD).
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
