Job description

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a motivated, bright and tech savvy individual to join a friendly, caring organisation, working in their UK Head Office in Leamington Spa.

You will assist the HR Manager with employee lifecycle activities and support HR projects, whilst contributing ideas to improve the HR service and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities
  1. Carry out all aspects of HR administration for the employee lifecycle including undertaking right to work, reference checks, drafting contracts of employment, absence monitoring and carry out exit interviews.
  2. Co-ordinate VISA applications and monitor renewal dates.
  3. Support recruitment & selection process and participate in interviews for non-management roles.
  4. Co-ordinate logistics for new hire orientations.
  5. Assist Production with peak season recruitment, inductions and timesheets.
  6. Respond to contract and benefit enquiries and escalate when needed.
  7. Maintain HRIS timely, inputting HR data and acting as 1st line support, logging and resolving issues with 2nd line support.
  8. Co-ordinate internal communications for HR related content and identify suitable content to promote the organisation to prospective new talent.
  9. Support Employee Engagement initiatives including the roll out of our Cultural Mindset.
  10. Manage the long service and annual recognition processes and co-ordinate with Office Manager.
  11. Prepare KPI reports and other documentation as required.
  12. Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency.
  13. Liaise with other departments to ensure efficient transfer of information (Payroll, Finance etc).
General duties
  1. The HR Assistant is responsible for other such duties as specified by the Management team and Directors to enable the Company to fulfil its orders and obligations.
  2. Adherence to Company Rules and Regulations, including Health and Safety, as outlined on the Company intranet.
  3. Maintaining the confidentiality of all knowledge and information appertaining to the Company, its customers and its employees.
Person specification

Essential:

  1. Previous experience of working in an HR role.
  2. Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
  3. Excellent organisational skills.
  4. High degree of attention to detail.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills at all organisational levels, and the ability to network in order to identify best practices with other sites of the group.
  6. Excellent oral and written communication and the ability to prioritise workload.
  7. Demonstrable ability to be able to respond to changing priorities.
  8. Strong I.T. skills and experience of using HRIS (ideally Workday).

Desirable:

  1. CIPD qualification.
  2. Knowledge of Workday.
  3. Experience of supporting employee relations activities.
  4. Personal interest in creative arts.
