HGV Fitter - Port Talbot, South Wales

45 hours per week Monday to Friday

Overtime paid at premium rates

£19.36 per hour (£45,372 per annum) plus overtime & benefits

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a HGV Fitter / Mechanic for a temporary to permanent position.

This is a great opportunity to join a company who have been established for nearly 30 years, who are currently enjoying a sustained period of growth in the industrial, haulage, and environmental industry.

The ideal candidate:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in this field.

Key attributes:

1. Recognised apprenticeship.
2. Fully skilled in all aspects of servicing, repairs and maintenance.
3. Vacuuming and Jetting equipment experience desirable.
4. Ability to work to a high standard both independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team within a busy workshop environment.
5. Complete job cards with accurate detail of work completed.
6. Demonstrate a positive safety culture at all times.
7. Work effectively as a member of the team.
8. Promote high levels of customer service and professionalism at all times.
9. Full Driving Licence.

Package:

1. Competitive salary of £45,372 per annum (£19.36 per hour)
2. 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
3. Overtime and weekend work may be required.
4. Auto enrolled onto the company pension scheme.
5. 30 days holiday per year inclusive of Bank holidays.

The successful candidate will be subject to their induction process which will include drug and alcohol testing.
