HGV Class 2 Ready-mix Concrete Driver

Join the leading supplier of site-mix and ready-mixed concrete in the Eastern Region!

As an HGV Class 2 Readymix Concrete Driver, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our concrete reaches a variety of sites and customers. This full-time role offers 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with the opportunity for overtime at an hourly rate of £17.79.

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. Hold a HGV Licence with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC
2. Knowledge of Suffolk roads would be beneficial
3. You will need to be enthusiastic, reliable and customer focused
4. Excellent time and communication skills are essential
5. Ability to build and retain positive internal and external relationships
6. Flexible in your approach and willing to learn all aspects of the business to carry out various duties

Main Duties of the HGV Class 2 Driver:

1. Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to various locations.
2. Complete daily vehicle checks and keep your truck in top condition.
3. Work in accordance with safe practices and legislation with regards to Driver Hours and the Working Time Directive.
4. Complete required paperwork with good attention to detail.
5. Assist the Plant Supervisor as required.
