HGV Class 1 Driver

Key Duties

• Complete work consisting of a mixture of inter depot trunking and customer collections and deliveries.
• Carry out some manual handling/loading of products.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
• Work independently and unsupervised managing your routing to ensure planned collections are achieved whilst showing effective communication with the transport team.
• Conduct daily safety checks on the vehicle and the equipment whilst following health and safety guidelines.
• Full UK driving license (with C+E entitlement) with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points for MINOR offences (No DD, DR or IN endorsements).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
