Woking Hospital | Nursing | Bank | Ad hoc | Includes weekend work
Up to £13.00 per hour, depending on experience

As a Healthcare Assistant in Outpatients at our Woking Hospital, you'll bring relevant experience, a keen eye for detail and a flexible approach. You demonstrate patience, focus and excellent communication skills. A real team player, you have the diligence, IT literacy and passion for development and training to make a difference. You will be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.

The Role

As a Healthcare Assistant you will:

  1. Put patient care first, enjoying time to really get to know the people who are our patients. By understanding them as individuals, you can better meet their needs.
  2. Use your organizational skills to the full, taking responsibility for administrative duties.
The Person

To succeed as a Healthcare Assistant you will have:

  • A good telephone manner.
  • Computer and database skills.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions.
  • Ideally, you will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.

We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment, Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.
