Job overview
The post holder will be responsible for the Performance Systems/Data Warehouse function, Business Intelligence and reporting development function that operates across the Trust. The post holder will ensure that these teams provide a high quality and responsive service in support of the Trust's clinical, operational and strategic objectives by meeting its rapidly growing and changing information needs. This includes the management and development of complex information and business intelligence systems providing critical information, both internally for use in the Trust's performance management framework and planning processes, and external statutory reporting to NHSI/NHS England and the Trust's Commissioners.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post-holder must have a strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skill set and ability to communicate highly complex issues to a wide-range of audiences. The post holder will provide input into non-BIU system developments, promote management information and data quality agendas through appropriate Trust forums and communication channels, and ensure that training also supports those agendas. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the accuracy and completeness of all national and mandatory reporting requirements are met.
The post holder will be instrumental in ensuring the success of the Trust's strategy to bring all Information functions into one corporate business intelligence team.
