Job Title: Business Intelligence Manager, Solution Management

Business Area: Production & Solutions

Position Reports to: Solution Development & BI Director

Location: + Ebiquity office workspaces available. This role can be done on a remote basis from any European country where Ebiquity operates and where the applicant has the right to work; this includes UK, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Bulgaria.

What is the purpose of the role?

At Ebiquity, we are World Leaders in Media Investment Analysis, working with 70 of the top 100 global advertisers - we help advertisers make Effective and Responsible Advertising decisions.

The Production & Solutions division is dedicated to building, optimizing and running innovative and scalable solutions that provide valuable insights & analysis to our clients.

As Business Intelligence Manager within the Solution Management team, you will be responsible for providing solution & technical expertise to drive development in automation of BI & reporting operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. BI Development & Maintenance
    • Technical development of BI solutions & analysis used across the business as a key platform for data analysis and delivery of insights to our clients.
    • Consultation and management of requirements & timelines on custom BI development and standardized data solutions.
    • Working within an Agile Scrum framework to deliver incremental developments to BI solutions and processes.
  2. Team management
    • Lead, manage and coach employees in the Solution management team to ensure they can work effectively, efficiently and with a positive, collaborative mindset.
    • Leader and point of escalation on general operations and projects to provide direction on team involvement and capabilities.
    • Management of team resource across projects and developments.
  3. Process management & optimization
    • Execution of Production & Solutions strategic vision in close collaboration with the Solution & BI lead.
    • Collaboration with other specialism leaders to support and provide processes and tools to enable operational efficiency.
    • Management and lead innovation of team development and operational processes, tools and ways of working.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Skills and essential qualifications (or equivalent):

  • 3+ years of experience with Power BI (or equivalent BI platforms).
  • Experience with data management platforms and systems used for data transformation, modelling and analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL syntax, queries, and database management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across global teams.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members.
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies (advantageous).
