Graduate Town Planner - Cardiff

Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career in Town Planning? Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established planning consultancy, who are looking for a Graduate Town Planner to join their Cardiff office.

About the Role

As a Graduate Town Planner, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You will support senior planners in preparing planning applications, conducting research, engaging with clients and local authorities, and contributing to strategic planning projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
2. Conducting research and site assessments to support planning projects.
3. Engaging with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders.
4. Preparing planning statements and reports.
5. Supporting senior team members on project delivery and client management.

About You

1. A degree in Town Planning or a related subject (RTPI accredited).
2. Experience in Town Planning.
3. A strong interest in UK planning policy and development.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
