An established industry player is seeking an Asset Strategy Manager to lead the development and execution of their Asset Strategy. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of council operations and the ability to work collaboratively across services. As the Asset Strategy Manager, you will support the development and delivery of the Council’s Asset Strategy working across Council services to ensure their needs are considered when we make decisions about our assets.
You will be an effective leader as you scope and deliver asset-led reviews using a comprehensive understanding of service need, the capabilities of our assets, and our priorities as portfolio managers. We are therefore looking for a person with in-depth knowledge of what makes the council tick and considerable experience of working across services in a similarly demanding role.
Working with the Strategic Manager and other senior managers within the service, you will:
Kirklees is a mixture of rural and urban conurbations. You will be expected to travel, and therefore having a full and valid driving licence is essential for this role (Exceptions may be made for disabled applicants).
