We're looking for a General Manager for a seasonal premium hotel. Salary up to £45k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Penhelig Arms Hotel, Aberdovey and lead the team to success!

About the pub

The Penhelig Arms, originally a collection of fisherman’s cottages, now a jewel of Welsh hospitality, overlooks the stunning vista which was, at one time the ship building harbour, surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park.

The Penhelig is a very seasonal site and attracts tourists from all over the UK in the summer months. Built in 1750, nearly all of the hotel's fourteen bedrooms have fabulous sea views of the Dyfi estuary. The Penhelig has a great reputation locally, with ample parking for guests and stunning views from the beer garden. With capacity for 600 weekly covers, the pub is currently averaging £22,000 weekly with a sales mix of 30% Wet, 35% Dry & 35% accommodation.

Management accommodation is available in the form of 2 bedroom self-contained flat.
