Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Campaign Development: Design and execute immersive, game-centric marketing strategies to boost brand awareness, player engagement, and loyalty for Lenovo’s Legion and Tablet gaming brands.
- Co-Marketing Execution: Spearhead collaborative marketing initiatives with key gaming retail and digital partners, aligning efforts with esports and gaming community trends while optimizing MDF budgets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Team up with EMEA marketing experts, consumer sales teams, and gaming alliance partners to weave integrated, gamer-focused marketing strategies into broader business plans.
- Innovative Campaign Management: Craft creative, data-driven marketing campaigns tailored for the gaming audience—think influencer partnerships, live streams, and tournament sponsorships—to drive key brand metrics.
- Social Media Leadership: Direct the social media strategy and content creation, amplifying our brand’s voice in gaming communities and fostering active engagement across platforms.
- Plan Translation: Transform gaming business and account strategies into actionable marketing plans that support both brand and retailer initiatives, ensuring they resonate with gamers.
- Performance Reporting: Deliver regular updates and strategic insights to senior management by tracking marketing performance, gamer engagement, and key digital metrics.
- Market Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring gaming trends, competitor activities, and the evolving digital landscape, continuously refining marketing strategies to keep our brands at the forefront of the gaming world.
Key Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Relevant Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on marketing or product marketing experience, preferably within the gaming or technology sector.
- Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of trade, consumer, or retail marketing with proven insights into the gaming market and player behavior.
- Financial Proficiency: Demonstrated financial acumen with numerical reasoning and effective budget management skills to support high-impact gaming campaigns.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with a knack for influencing key stakeholders in the gaming industry.
- Creative Problem Solving: A proven track record in designing and implementing innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with gamers and deliver measurable results.
- Digital Savvy: Experience in managing social media platforms and executing successful digital marketing strategies, particularly within the gaming community.
- Team & Independent Work: A collaborative team player who can also work independently under pressure with a proactive, “can-do” attitude—ready to dive into the fast-paced world of gaming marketing.
