Role Overview
As our lead developer, you'll be responsible for:

1. Maintaining and evolving our current WordPress-based platform
2. Leading the technical transformation to a more scalable architecture using Laravel and React
3. Implementing AI integrations and advanced search functionality
4. Developing innovative features to enhance user experience
5. Making key technical decisions that will shape the platform's future

Technical Requirements
Must Have:

1. Strong experience with PHP and WordPress development
2. Proficiency in modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
3. Experience with Laravel framework
4. Familiarity with React and modern frontend development
5. Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
6. Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
7. Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment
8. Experience with version control systems (Git)
9. Knowledge of SQL and database optimization

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with AI/ML integrations
2. Advanced AWS certifications
3. Experience with serverless architecture
4. Expertise in AWS services such as:

• Lambda for serverless computing
• S3 for storage
• EC2 for cloud computing
• RDS for database management
• CloudFront for content delivery

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Experience with automated testing

Background in recruitment tech or HR systems

Key Responsibilities

1. Own the complete development lifecycle of our platform
2. Lead the migration from WordPress to a Laravel/React stack
3. Design and implement cloud-native architecture on AWS
4. Manage cloud infrastructure and optimize for cost-efficiency
5. Implement advanced search algorithms and AI-powered features
6. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines in the cloud
7. Design scalable and resilient cloud architecture
8. Optimize platform performance and scalability
9. Integrate with third-party services and APIs
10. Ensure security best practices are followed across cloud services
11. Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements
12. Mentor future junior developers as the team grows
