About us! We are building the 'Walmart of import-export'. That includes the logistics and software infrastructure to provide both greatly increased availability to customers and reduced prices, starting in the US and UK but then worldwide. We did £407k revenue Jan '25, up 3.7x on Jan '24.
About you:
- Django + Python experience: +3 years
- Ability to wire a label printer: +1
- Forklift driving experience: +2
- Experience in building product demand forecasts given messy/incomplete data: +4
- Enjoys the prospect of making freight more efficient: +aleph_null
- Attended a top university or has built some demonstrably cool code (e.g., a major open source contribution)
You’ll be improving our demand estimation, financial and accounting backend, eating takeaways in the office, occasionally mucking in on a warehouse shift, working next to the CEO but also reviewing his code.
