Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to join our team. The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are well-maintained, and drivers are following company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure the fleet is in good working condition at all times
  • Monitor and track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly licensed and insured
  • Develop and implement fleet safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of vehicles and equipment
  • Monitor driver performance and provide feedback and training as needed
  • Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Negotiate and secure competitive pricing for vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Prepare and maintain reports on fleet performance and costs
  • Assist with the recruitment and training of new drivers
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fleet Coordinator or similar role
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
  • Familiarity with fleet management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Valid driver's license
