Job description

Role: Fleet Account Manager

Location: Northwest Region

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm

Salary: GBP26,764 + GBP2,000 Performance related bonus once established in the role

As an integral part of our Fleet team, you will play a key role in driving our department's commercial success. Working closely with the Fleet Commercial Operation, you will actively participate to enhancing team performance, new and existing clients, whilst supporting the wider Fleet / Branch Network, and Call Centre contribution (Taxi Department).

What you will be doing:
  1. Utilising CRM system (Salesforce) to maintain updated files, customer outcomes, diary, lead and opportunity cycle stage.
  2. Accuracy on all data entries and submissions to allow fluid operation and SLA turn arounds.
  3. Inbound and Outbound target audience (UTA - Universal Target Audience) leads to qualify to next stages to meet agreed team KPI's.
  4. Professional approach to communication as a main tool to build and maintain all levels of customer relationship and service.
  5. Meeting and exceeding team and departmental key performance indicators & budgetary requirements.
  6. Managing own performance of defined targets and delivering continuous improvements in performance and productivity.
  7. Support search / connections to commercial industry individuals and commercial events to showcase Fleet product suite and service to source new business development.
  8. Support BDM to effectively maintain diary and new business prospects through to new business conversion.
  9. Ensure Quality (Compliance/Audits) meet standards, a good level of customer service is delivered.
What we're looking for:
  1. Insurance experience (Preferable but not essential)
  2. Account/Portfolio management experience (Preferable)
  3. Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients and insurance agents to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  4. Sales acumen: Proficiency in identifying new business opportunities and converting leads into clients through persuasive selling techniques.
  5. Ability to work independently
  6. Problem-solving skills: Aptitude for quickly resolving client issues, addressing concerns, and finding innovative solutions to meet their insurance needs.
  7. Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Product knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of insurance products, coverage options, and industry regulations to provide accurate information and advice to clients.
  9. Ability to adapt to fast-paced changes in the insurance industry, client preferences, and market conditions to stay competitive and achieve business objectives.
  10. Positive Can-do Attitude, Detail-oriented, approachable, ability to network and sustain relationships.
