What you’ll be doing?- To support that Contract Employees are paid the correct amount of pay and are paid on time. Ensuring strict payroll deadlines are met.
- Responsible for ensuring the Payroll Data is entered/ submitted to the HRSSC / Workday System within Payroll Deadlines.
- Responsible for the accuracy of data entered to be paid via Payroll i.e. calculation of additional payments as required.
- Support the provision of an up-to-date personnel record system.
- Undertake administrative duties such as filing, binding and photocopying as required.
- To calculate payroll payments as required e.g. overtime and other additional payments.
- To ensure purchase orders are raised/receipted in a timely manner.
- To ensure policies and procedures are adhered to regarding Purchase Ordering.
What We Are Looking ForProfessional- Good working knowledge of Excel.
- Experience of working independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of Workday (desirable but not essential).
Behavioural- Enjoy working with people.
- Be able to stay calm in difficult situations.
- Be able to prioritise workloads during busy periods.
- Have good spoken and written communication skills.
- Respect the importance of confidentiality, as you will be dealing with employees' personal details.
- Have good organising skills.
