Location: Newbury + *Hybrid working
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Duration: 12 month Fixed Term Contract

What you’ll do

The Finance Portfolio Management & Transformation Team is responsible for the delivery of significant programmes of change. The Finance Change Manager will define, plan, manage and deliver projects, working with subject matter experts across Finance and managing dependencies on other project teams and third-party suppliers. You will plan for, and manage, the business change arising from the implementation of the delivery into the UK Finance function. You will also be responsible for:

  1. Change management: Throughout the delivery lifecycle, providing the bridge between the programme and Finance Teams to ensure that the capabilities delivered by the projects are adopted by the organization in order to achieve the desired outcome and maximise their subsequent benefits.
  2. Risk & Governance: Manage the delivery of change initiatives, ensuring work packages are on time, within scope and to budget, enabling optimum benefits realisation. Continually push the envelope, identifying innovative ways to deliver better, faster and more value.
  3. Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies: Proactively intervening to remove roadblocks.
  4. Planning & Design: Work closely with all areas of Finance and the business to understand their needs and develop recommendations.
  5. Business Impact: Leading complex projects and leading cross functional / virtual teams across all impacted business areas to drive successful project delivery.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Building strong relationships within the project team and nurture trust and a spirit of empowerment.
  7. Customer & Supplier Management: Building rapport with internal and external 3rd parties to drive cost-effective and efficient delivery of in/outsourced deliverables.

Who you are

Essential:
• Demonstrable Project/ Programme Management (waterfall/agile) experience in large corporate organisations, including relevant industry qualification/certification (APM, PRINCE2, SAFe etc.)
• Track record of delivering real business change & solutions to complex business requirements through innovative concepts involving multiple 3rd party suppliers and partners.
• Ability to work in constantly changing environment
• Experience in communicating and influencing decisions on complex issues to different stakeholders, up to EXEC level.
• Experience in the Telecoms /IT

Desirable:
• Experience of working in or with Finance Teams
• Experience of Microsoft Project
