Qualifications

Company Description

Home Instead Dundee & South Angus was established in 2021 and our mission is to brighten the lives of seniors giving them a sense of purpose, wellbeing & worth. This role will play a vital part ensuring that our clients receive the best in class quality care and support the growth of our business.

Job Description

This is a full time permanent role 37.5 hours per week. Predominantly Monday to Friday; however, must be able to work occasional weekends (1 in 4).

The Role

  1. Support care consultations, service reviews and completing client support plans.
  2. Conduct staff supervisions and client QA’s.
  3. Create, update and audit client care plans and assist with digital care planning.
  4. Maintain accurate client and Care Professional records on Home Instead software.
  5. Conduct client and Care Professional introductions.
  6. Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care.
  7. Carry out client reviews and action these accordingly.
  8. Support and mentor Care Professionals.
  9. Create and deliver training to Care Professionals.
  10. Maintain regular contact with clients and Care Professionals.
  11. Any other duties as directed by your line manager.
  12. Participate in on-call duties as required.
  13. Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
  14. Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.

Qualifications

  1. Level 3 SVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent (desirable to hold or working towards).
  2. Experience in the care sector delivering a wide range of personal care services.
  3. Experience of working with MAR sheets and medication in a supervisory role.
  4. Passion for delivering the highest quality care to our clients and helping them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
  5. Knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations specific to Health and Social Care.
  6. Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  7. Must be confident to use care management technology including providing support and training to Care Professionals.
  8. Must understand the importance of confidentiality working within current legislation.
  9. Must have full driving license and means of transport if required within the territory to visit clients.
